the way it transitions from free gameplay into qte sequence, makes you think you're done, and then throws one last qte when you arent expecting it. this is genuinely peak sequence design

Movie was just bsing stuff making it sentient because it just want to kill people. Even leon wouldn't survive that. Of course the game got it right

This part gave me so much anxiety back then. But not as much as these dudes

The laser dodging did not work out so well in the movies, at one point they turned into a full grid and made diamond cubes of the last guy.

BTW for those wondering, this IS still in the RE4 Remake except they gave it to Ada in the Separate Ways DLC.

Still one of the best-paced action horror games ever made, and the atmosphere hasn’t aged a bit.
