Resonating tuning fork inside water

Ružna ko kurac

the splash pattern is wilder than the sound itself. kind of want to see what a lower frequency would do to the surface tension here

I've only ever used one of these to test someone's hearing. Never once thought to put it in water.

How bout the gamelan?

This is pure science magic. Watching a tuning fork create that intense bubbling and water agitation is one of the coolest demos of resonance and vibration I’ve seen. (AD)

Wowww🤩

For the fishes is that torture.

I've got a bunch of zen tuning forks, and one night I dipped one in a glass of water. The ripples were wild, stayed up way too late playing with it.
