YYH is a classic and indeed has a GOAT’d dub (excellent voice acting & writing)

I always recommend the dub for YYH if anybody new wants to give the series a shot imo it’s the best way

YES. The sub is good but that Dub is legendary bro, the cast they use is deadass perfect. Justin Cook Yusuke is Top Tier

The ocean dub for gundam seed is pretty good especially it's main villain and the speech he gives near the end delivered with perfection

Every time someone argues that every dub should be “AS ACCURATE AS POSSIBLE,” I can’t help but think of Yu Yu Hakusho as proof against that. So many of my favorite lines in that show are dub exclusive.

favorite anime series of all time, only know the English dubbed version

This is among one of my favorite dubbed anime I ever watched and made me forget about the DBZ dub before Kai. This scene here has brought Justin Cook to shine with such raw energy of his performance.

YHH's dub is amazing. Literally one of a kind.

Not all dubs are bad, and not all subs (the native actors) are good. I do usually watch subs, but it just depends.

They chose the best voice cast for this series. But scrap. This scene. Very painful to watch but very emotional as well. Yuske went all out to survive and save Puu.

One of the best dubbed series' of all time, but it should never be used to defend the modern crap we get now.

I got Justin Cook's (Yusuke's English VA) autograph and I mentioned to him that the cave was my favorite part of the series. He told me they spent hours recording the cave scenes because they had to get the screams of agony just right.

This is the exception to the rule. My favorite exception, but my principal is that it is better to watch and consume anime via sub rather than dub, the voice actors actually care and are held to a deeper standard than most dub actors are.

yyh dub was so peak, I rewatched the series in 2021 in sub since yyh was one of my first animes almost like 10+ years ago . I 10000000% gotta do a rewatch in dub later on in the future because I love it and miss it so much

I mostly prefer JP dub but YYH was one of the exceptions. the dub was so good and I even prefer the english version of the opening

This was one of my first animes as a kid watching Toonami and Adult Swim back in the day. GOATED show and now I'm rewatching it and caught up to where I left off as a kid (when the masked fighter... you know) and it's like being a kid again.
