In 2003, I had a power bike accident around Ijebu Ode. When I regained consciousness, I couldn’t walk because of a dislocated ankle. For days I was treated in a hospital but the ankle kept swelling and the doctor said I would need surgery. My Mechanic, Saka, came and told me about a traditional bone healer. I dismissed him and waited to be scheduled for the surgery. He said something to me, “Oga if e no work, you go come do una operation”.
