I had a stroke 6 months before my daughter‘s wedding. Her stepmom helped me walk down so I did not need to use my walker or my cane.Everybody loved it. It made for great photographs. And a lot of looks from the audience because in the beginning, we did NOT get along.

My Daughter's "bio" dad let me pay for everything but he walked her down the aisle. I didn't care. The day wasn't about me.

I named my son after my stepdad. My dad had first grandson named for him. My dad and son were inseparable but my stepdad had same relationship with my son too.

God bless Step dads! I loved mine till the end ! He wasn’t perfect! But he was a good man who married my mom and 3 kids! Forever grateful!

If my wife divorced me, robbed me of my house and finances, put me on child support, then married another guy, for him to "raise" my daughter, there's absolutely no way I'm asking him to be by my side while I "give her away" at her wedding. THAT'S MY SEED, NOT YOURS, BUDDY.
