Love the Sikh community. Always smiling, always friendly. I remember a West Ham fan who waited every week for the rest of us to chant "he's got a turban on his head...." on repeat. It was a claret and blue turban. Integration at its best. Banter and smiles.....

I worked with a load of Sikh boys from Gravesend and erith. All really nice blokes I used to talk to them about thier history and stuff love the stories about the Sikh warriors and I'm always in trying the proper food that different people eat not the version us westerners get on multiple times they brought me in some of thier curry's and dhaals made by thier mum or wife. Even though I dont work with them anymore I still message some of them and occasionally meet them for a pint

I worked for a Sikh family who ran a “Chicken George” shop back in the late 80s and they were absolutely lovely people ❤️ And let me tell you..Rani the wife was the BOSS!! 💪🏼💪🏼
