The animation feels genuinely fluid. The hits have weight, and you can feel the impact in every exchange. At times, it honestly looks like an official Dragon Ball scene. Imma be 💯 with you… this looks like typical tv animation to me. Actually looking back at clips of Phineas and Ferb’s original run, there’s messy lining on the lip sync, skipped frames, stiff pose to pose animation… The worst I’ve seen from the new episodes so far is just getting used to the lineweight and color not changing with the camera. Which is an art STYLE problem, not an animation problem, the actual motion of the characters often looks between as clean and basic as the original to impressively more ambitious, and I appreciate that. “Ugly flash cartoon” are we being fr rn have we actually forgotten what bad flash animation looks like or are we being hyperbolic?

🎥 i feel like vernon & minghao have a very strong need to do what they want. they must’ve fought [during the production process] 🐻‍❄️ we actually had quite a bit of clashes 🎱 in the end, i sort of let him [go his way], or rather i said he can be more responsible for the music side, and me for the marketing side - like, “how can we make this project more fun?” 🐱 splitting the work like that is good 🙂‍↕️
