🚨Earlier Today | Trump suggests any number of “other countries” may have fired the Tomahawk missile that struck and killed 180+ at Iranian girls’ primary school. President Donald Trump suggested that countries besides the U.S. possess and use Tomahawk missiles, after verified footage showed a U.S. Tomahawk striking near an elementary school in southern Iran, where scores of children were killed. ➤ Asked whether the U.S. would accept responsibility for the strike, Trump said: “I will say that the Tomahawk, which is one of the most powerful weapons around, is used by — you know — is sold and used by other countries.” ➤ Trump then suggested Iran had used the weapon (it does not possess Tomahawks): “Whether it’s Iran, who also has some Tomahawks — they wish they had more.” ➤ He said the incident is “under investigation,” but “Tomahawks are used by others. As you know, numerous other nations have Tomahawks. They buy them from us.” ➤ Trump later admitted he “just doesn’t know enough” about the topic: “Whatever the report shows, I’m willing to live with that report.” ▪️ Background (CNN): Only a small number of countries are known to possess Tomahawk missiles — the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia. Japan has purchased 400 from the U.S. but is still in the process of deploying them. 🎥 Reporter Shawn McCreesh asks Trump a follow-up below. 👇
