To the greatest of all time Fun fact, the Hulkster spoke a bit of Japanese. I knew he wrestled and trained over there. When I talked to him about where he lived in Japan he told me with zero accent. So I asked him in Japanese if he could tell me a funny story. He answered in English but he said yeah brother I got loads of good stories from over there. Then he gave me a hilarious story about Andre the giant taking a dump on newspapers in his hotel because he was too big to get inside the bathroom! He at least knew japanese well enough to know what i asked him but would answer in English with a few Japanese words thrown in like Yabai, which is slang. As if the man could get any cooler. He was gonna let me lift with him and I had to check to see if he thought I was someone else because his restauraunt was under renovation and I thought he thought I was one of the workers. Nah, he was just that friendly. He was signing belts and talking to me like we'd known each other for years. This was 2019.

Footballers especially — elite footballers most especially are like tour musicians. They’re often on the road. You’re playing away games round the country, spending three days or more away from home when you have continental away games. Gabriel Jesus spoke about the same thing in his recent interview with The Players’ Tribune titled “A Letter to My Family and my Arsenal Family”. He said football made him distant but his ACL injury brought him closer. “I wasn’t the husband and father that I needed to be,” he said. For anyone saying Khamzat's style is boring... Have you watched his fights? When was the last time he was in a 'boring' fight? He went in there and had the most dominant performance, ever, from a challenger. Dricus gave him no reason to change the game plan. And props to DDP. He never quit. He was just outmatched on the night. I believe Dricus when he says he's gonna come back better.

He worked his butt off to prove he belonged in the NBA and was deserving of the early high school media praise he got. He came from a single mother home but had a humility and maturity to him that made you want to cheer for him. This podcast reminded me he ONCE had a fire and mindset that was admirable. Sadly, he went away from this humble mindset when he went to Miami and then went on a run of making super team moves. Becoming very unlikable.. Complaining about lack of talent, making excuses, being a victim, ect
