POPULAR PODCASTER NGIZWE MCHUNU BLASTS KZN COGTA MEC THULASIZWE BUTHELEZI The beef between Podcaster and self proclaimed Bhinca Nation President Ngizwe Mchunu and MEC for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA), Thulasizwe Buthelezi, is far from over. This comes after Mchunu blasted Buthelezi after he strongly criticised them saying they are attempting to speak or act on behalf of the Zulu nation without proper authority. Buthelezi said that neither Phakela uMthakathi Ndabandaba nor Mchunu have any mandate to call for confrontation or claim representation of the Zulu people. "Thulasizwe should not have been returned to the position of Prime Minister. His actions and conduct are, in my view, comparable to those of someone who has betrayed the trust placed in them. He was set aside while legal matters were being addressed, yet he was never formally condemned. "He attempted to mislead and confuse members of the Royal Family through questionable letters, despite claiming to have no knowledge of them. In my opinion, he was responsible for their creation. I believe Thulasizwe has damaged the Zulu nation and weakened the Zulu Government, a respected institution that once held great dignity under previous leaders," he said. Mchunu said Buthelezi appears to be advancing a political agenda rather than serving the interests of the people. His public statements have, in his view, been divisive and damaging. He stressed that no traditional leader has an authority over him and Phakela Umthakathi and that they won't tell them anything.

According to Mchunu, there was a time when Buthelezi held influence and authority, but he has since lost control and can no longer dictate to the people. Mchunu further argued that traditional leaders and political figures should acknowledge that ordinary people are increasingly taking matters into their own hands and are no longer waiting for instructions from established structures.
