The one thing we absolutely know with certainty about the Richat Structure is that there was an incredible amount of human activity here from the dawn of toolmaking and tool use itself. The Acheulean Hand Axe is the second tool that humans ever made and this technology spread throughout Africa, Europe and Asia while no definitive evidence exists that this technology ever made it to the Americas. I think this is evidence that this technology was shared and disseminated intentionally, that neighboring humans didn’t come up with this independently on their own but this was a legacy, an institution, a skill and an industry that was shared and taught. It is perhaps the earliest evidence we have of widespread cultural diffusion throughout Africa, Europe and Asia. And yes, it’s right there at the Richat Structure which leads me to question the role that the Richat played to humans half a million years ago. It seems like that’s where we have to start with the Richat.

😂😂😂😂😂😂 I can’t say enough how fucking crazy this reflecting pool stuff is. there appears to be no hesitation to target ordinary Americans when it serves a political purpose. It’s the same pattern critics have pointed to with Alex Pretti, Renee Good, and others. When the facts become inconvenient, an individual is cast as the villain and the resulting damage becomes politically useful. If that pattern is accurate, it reflects an administration willing to let innocent people bear the consequences in order to protect its own interests and maintain power.

[COMMENT] Today marks one year since Lt.Gen Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi delivered an explosive public address that changed the national conversation on policing, organised crime, corruption and political interference in South Africa. His allegations sent shockwaves through the country and triggered intense public debate, investigations, arrests and a judicial commission of inquiry. Over the past 12 months, South Africans have witnessed testimony, evidence and developments that continue to shape the future of law enforcement and criminal justice. No individual, regardless of rank, position or influence, should be above the law. The fight against organised crime and corruption is far from over. It requires courage, integrity and an unwavering commitment to the rule of law. South Africa deserves a criminal justice system that serves its people without fear, favour or political interference. The pursuit of truth and justice must continue.
