Saw him many a weekend in San Fran, when I was stationed near there in The Navy. The Rock-Kihn-Roll album with The Breakup Song was just being released, and he was just making it big. Good times!! #RIP 💔

Saw him in concert in 1981 at the @WLIRFM “Party In The Park” at Fireman’s Park in Hempstead, NY. He and his band sounded awesome. They went on next to last, as the headliner was Joan Jett & The Blackhearts
