Before you release a binder that puts you in danger, chain it with a binder on the left side that can be released from the ground. Then, loosen the top binder and remove the chain. Then loosen the load from the ground, opposite where the load will roll off. If it looks dangerous, think about it first.

Oh shit! Wasn't expecting it that bad. I knew a guy whose hydraulics went out on his tractor with massive oak logs and crushed him. He lived,only to be taken out by a grain silo he was bringing down with a backhoe.

I had a driver bring a load of sewer pipe in from the port. It was loaded pyramid style & with chocks on ONLY one side of the trailer. When he popped the last binder lose he had to dive under the trailer to keep from getting crushed ! You CAN'T FIX STUPID, you can kill it though
