@RosaRF I got a chance to meet him and hang out with him on the field before a Giants game. He was so nice and so funny! I attended his wedding… along with 50,000 other Giants fans at Candlestick Park. He got married right there on the field before a game in 1989! RIP Vida.

I will never forget when I got his autograph at an A's event but he made me answer an A's trivia question first. He was so surprised I knew the answer. RIP Vida.💚
