I really feel for the people that tried to pour their heart and soul into this franchise that worked there over the years that had all of it absolutely incinerated by catastrophically bad management. But this should have happened years ago.

Celebrating the loss of jobs to hundreds of people who weren't even at fault, it was management that were the problem, is mental.

I have no faith Activision will be any better. Just because they say it's going to be "separate" from the COD developers. Doesn't mean Activision won't try to find ways to incorporate more malicious monetization practices into Halo. Or God forbid rushed annual releases...

I'm not a Halo fan but if I were I'd be worried that the franchise is now under Activision 😬.
