Whoever wins in 2029, a dismissing of police bosses and training centres is needed. The police standards have fallen. Officers only police the weak or outnumbered and are often shown that 1-2-1 they cannot fight or restrain crims. Too much DEI and no common sense.

My husband just suggested perhaps a scheme should be implemented whereby veterans leaving the forces could be offered a "fast-tracked" route into the police force? They are already trained and it could benefit some who aren't sure what to do?
