its so funny to me how unleashed probably highest skill floor for most mainline sonic games and also its the only game thats this mean to you if you suck

Me near at the endgame and hearing this:

i have literally never gotten an e rank in either version of unleashed before and i've done some absolute dogshit runs of levels so i'm going to assume you need to play like you just had a lobotomy to legitimately get an e rank

Getting an E-Rank is so sad 🫠 It just tells you that you sucked! Die many times, bad score, no rings, and used a lot of time to finish the stage! You might as well do it again for a C or above My first E ever was Act 2 of Dragon Road and that might’ve been the last time I did?

I need newer sonic games to play horrible sounding versions of the result screen music if I get a D rank. Absolute shame how this is only a thing in Unleashed.
