Can't figure out fishing in Crimson Desert? Line keeps snapping? Basic guide: - Aldan, the provisioner, sells fishing rods across from smithy. - Equip the rod, press Q to ready it and find any body of water. - Left click and hold to cast, release to confirm location. - When you get a bite, right click to hook them. You can SEE the fish come up to your line. - The fish will try to escape, don't reel them in yet, use ASWD and press and hold opposite their direction of splashing. - When the splashing stops, the fish is tired for a short time, use mouse wheel to reel them in quick! Fish stews are very potent healing that heals both HP and Spirit.

Had the most perfect day fishing with my brothers. We went back to the lake we used to fish in 40 plus years ago. I haven’t really fished since then. Sat watching my float bobbing around there and I was instantly transported back to that time. Blew my mind. And no need to worry about fishing being cruel as none of us caught a blooming thing.

My first time-lapse. Thanks to some instruction and tips from Ferry Farhan, I caught my first aurora. After seeing the result, I told her this felt like fishing. Prepping the camera, the angle, the settings, the mount, then setting your timer and coming back to hope you got a catch. And after catching my first fish, I think I’m hooked. Thanks, Vapor! Beautiful auroras passing over southeastern Asia and Australia.
