📍Surda mine, Jharkand Operated by Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL), restarted and commenced mining operations last year. The mine is expected to generate Rs. 300 crore as annual revenue, providing direct employment for around 1,100 people and indirect employment for about 5,000 locals. Surda mine will contribute Rs. 75 crore annually to the exchequer, with Rs 25 crore in royalty payments.
