Can confirm that this method works on resin patio chairs. 👍 (w/electric heat gun)

A really cool process! Gives new life to old seats. Curious how many times this can be done before depolymerization makes the plastic brittle.

Great video! The same is true for a heat gun when used on sun faded exterior car trim that is gray or black plastic. It restores the shine.

That works with Motocross plastic covers too. If you fall over and the covers are bent, they become white marks. Just heat it a little and the structure of the plastic will normalize and the color will return.

Considering the carbon emissions here, would an industrial electric heat gun do the job?
