Although Zellweger is an extra in the film, the actress most confuse her with is actually Joey Lauren Adams (lower right) she was also in multiple Kevin Smith Movies.
Don’t forget Cole Hauser was also in that movie.

Most people don't know about Renee Zellwegers cameo. This is one of my all-time favorite summer rewatches. I'll pair it with Fast Times at Ridgmont High afterwards

Shawn Andrews was my neighbor when i moved to LA in 1993. Apartment complex on Beverly. He was a weird dude who was stoned all the time. He told me once "im doing this little movie". I had no clue at the time what he was referring to.

I've watched this movie thousands of times and yet this is the first and only time I noticed the graduation year '77
It helped that McConaughey and Zellweger (along with the director Linklater) are all from Texas and they filmed it in Austin.
This might as well be a documentary about my time in high school

I remember being very ‘meh’ about this movie. Seemed aimless and bland. Have not rewatched it since it was new. The stoned age came out at the same time and I rewatch That w delight every few years
@MakingTarantino It’s trippy because it takes place the year I was born and I was the same age the characters were playing in the movie.
