@Espngreeny Greeny couldn’t be more put of touch with how the fan base is feeling

As a Jet fan this whole process is comical. I like Rex, great DC, but NOT as a repeat Head Coach. Apparently everyone is waxing nostalgic for the 2009 and 2010 season when the Jets went to consecutive AFC title games during his first two years with an offensive line that was drafted before he arrived in 2006 (D'Brickashaw and Mangold) and during Mark Sanchez first two seasons. And now many are thrilled to ignore that the 2010 draft was a complete effing disaster, the 2011 season, in his own words, state he lost the locker room and the pulse of the team with an 8-8 record, then went 6-10, 8-8 and 4-12 in his last four years. Perhaps as fans we have an unreasonable expectation of what success equates to, but sub .500 record during his Jet tenure, sub .500 as a Bills head coach...seriously???

@Espngreeny Greeny absolutely does not speak for Jets fans. He is probably the most disliked outward facing Jets fan there is. His takes on them are absurd.

@Espngreeny I mean I really think either him or Jim Schwartz would be a great hire, but I think Rex is a little bit more appealing to the fan base.
