🚨 Something interesting is clearly happening right now, and it’s hard to ignore! 🚨 Yesterday, inside Ripple headquarters in London, Simon the CEO of Zebec Network posted a photo that immediately got people talking. That’s not the kind of place you just casually drop into without a reason. When you zoom out and look at what both sides are building, it starts to click. Ripple has spent years positioning itself as the backbone for global payments. Fast settlement, deep liquidity, and strong ties to institutions around the world. Zebec, on the other hand, is focused on something just as important but often overlooked. Real time money movement. Streaming payments. Payroll that actually functions in a modern digital economy. Now think about what happens if those two worlds connect. You’d have a system that doesn’t just move money across borders instantly, but also distributes it in real time once it arrives. Not days later. Not in batches. Instantly. That opens the door to things like global payroll running 24/7, salaries streamed by the second, and businesses managing treasury flows with a level of precision that simply doesn’t exist today. It stops being theory and starts becoming usable infrastructure. And the timing lines up almost too well. Institutions are stepping deeper into crypto. The narrative is shifting toward real world utility. The market is looking for projects that actually do something meaningful. A connection between Ripple and Zebec would check every one of those boxes. That photo might end up being more than just a visit. It might be one of those moments people look back on later and realize something bigger was quietly starting to take shape. Definitely one to keep a close eye on.

Jony Ive designed the iPhone. The iMac. The MacBook. He asked Steve Jobs to soften his criticism. Jobs: "No. You're just vain. You want people to like you." Jony was furious. Because he knew it was true. He spent 3 minutes explaining what Jobs actually taught him: The first lesson: Focus. "This sounds really simplistic. But it still shocks me how few people actually practice it." "Steve was the most remarkably focused person I've ever met in my life." "Focus is not something you aspire to. It's not something you decide on Monday. 'You know what, I'm going to be focused.'" "It is every minute asking: why are we talking about this? This is what we're working on." "You can achieve so much when you truly focus." The second lesson: What focus actually means. "One of the things Steve would say, because I think he was concerned that I wasn't focused, he would say: how many things have you said no to?" "And I would have these sacrificial things. Because I wanted to be very honest about it." "So I'd say: I said no to this, and no to that." "But he knew I wasn't vaguely interested in doing those things anyway. So there was no real sacrifice." Here's what real focus means. "Saying no to something that with every bone in your body you think is a phenomenal idea." "That you wake up thinking about." "But you say no to it because you're focusing on something else." The third lesson: The difference between caring about people and caring about being liked. Jony asked Jobs why he was so harsh. "Couldn't we moderate the things we said a little bit?" "Why?" "Because I care about the team." Jobs said something brutally insightful. "No Johnny. You're just really vain." "You just want people to like you." "I thought you really held the work up as the most important. Not how you believed you were perceived by other people." "I was terribly cross." "Because I knew he was right."

"The cryptocurrency space is a near-perfect complement to agentic commerce. It's so good. It's like we planned it." Charles Hoskinson joined New Era Finance to explain why crypto and AI agents were made for each other and why combining them creates something neither can do alone. Agents are non-deterministic, tremendously creative, and don't have rules by default. Blockchains are deterministic, rule-based, rigid, and all about proofs and provability. Put these two things together and you get a perfect neural symbolic AI system. The lines that stuck with me: "Agents are non-deterministic, they're tremendously creative, and they just go and do a lot of stuff. And they also don't have rules by default." "Blockchains are deterministic. They're rule-based systems. They're very rigid and everything's about proofs and provability." "If you put these two things together, you basically create a perfect neural symbolic AI system where you get the best of both worlds. Those rigid rules and proofs, but then you get the creativity of it and the ability to deal with ambiguity and semantic drift." "The cryptocurrency space is a near-perfect complement to agentic commerce. It's so good. It's like we planned it." "Given the fact that there's so much revenue being generated within the AI agents, how can the ecosystem make sure that liquidity actually flows into other protocols and drives adoption?" One uncomfortable truth about symbiosis. Five pieces of infrastructure reality reshaping finance. We cover: — Why agents and blockchains need each other — The neurosymbolic AI thesis explained — How agents generate revenue on-chain — Why liquidity flow matters for ecosystem growth — The creative chaos of agents vs rigid rules of code — How blockchains solve agent trust problems — Why this partnership was inevitable — The revenue generation mechanics of agentic commerce — How semantic drift gets solved with cryptography — Building systems where both thrive together Thanks to Charles Hoskinson for coming on New Era Finance Podcast.

California just made it harder to connect violent felons to their criminal histories. Scott Wiener’s SB 59 & Zbur’s AB 1084 went into effect this month. The women of WAR opposed these bills last year, along with many other pro-women, pro-child, pro-reality organizations. But the CA Dems, with Senator Wiener leading the charge, passed them anyway and Newsom happily signed them. For a sample of how CA lawmakers approached this bill, check out the clip from June 2025 where Asm. Stefani tells women concerned about convicted felons gaining access to female-only spaces to “try harder to love people.” Due to AB 1084, California law now automatically grants gender-related name changes for adults, even for convicted felons. Those currently incarcerated & registered sex offenders face additional scrutiny (they can still do it), but people convicted of other felonies do not. And then Wiener’s law SB 59 automatically seals the court records. It will now become increasingly difficult for journalists, employers, & normal folks to tie anyone who changes their name to their previous criminal convictions. A man with any of the following convictions can decouple themselves from their public criminal records: ❌multiple felony domestic violence convictions ❌attempted murder of a wife or girlfriend ❌ murder of a female intimate partner ❌ repeatedly stalking or terrorizing women Fingerprint-based background checks, like those used for teachers and government jobs, will still identify prior convictions. But public record searches used by journalists and ordinary folks will become useless. Commercial background checks used by landlords and employers may also become less effective. The risk is greatest when a convicted felon had no credit/employment history before the conviction and subsequent name change.

THIS IS MASSIVE ‼️ Starting December 1, 2025 the Donald Trump Administration is cracking down on all cash buyers and LLCs purchasing American homes “The federal government is cracking down on home cash purchases targeting properties purchased to all cash by LLCs, Corporation, Trust and more. For years this type of purchases were flying under the radar and they were keeping the homeowners names anonymous. And that's all about to change right Now. Starting with December 1, 2025, FinCEN will require a full real estate report for all the purchases for residential real estate in US that are connected to trust, LLCs or corporations. This will give the federal government the ability to see who actually owns these properties and how they were able to fund it. Now who needs to report this? Well, whoever closes the deal. So if you're using a real estate attorney, that's the person that has to do it or escrow can also do it or you personally or your real estate agent. This has to be submitted within 30 days after closing. Now this is going to add a little bit more transparency whenever it comes to who purchased these properties and how those funds are coming in. “The goal is to crack down on money laundering, fraud, and hidden ownership in the housing market. For homebuyers, sellers, and investors, this means more transparency but also more scrutiny” This could impact realt estate deals across California, Texas and nationwide

my understanding is that this video dates back to 2023-4. it's an HHS staffer testifying before congress. it now seems clear that the biden administration was allowing 100's of thousands of undocumented and unaccompanied minors into the US and sending them to "sponsor families." based on this testimony, they set up a hotline for these kids to report mistreatment, abuse, rape, etc. it had 65,000 unanswered calls because only one staffer was assigned to answer the phone. to describe that as "woefully negligent" seems a hopeless understatement. i simply cannot believe that someone, not even the government, could make a mistake that glaring and allow it to keep going on for years by accident. these folks can staff a trans teen hotline like the normandy invasion. this was a choice. several questions cannot help but arise from this, including "so why was this not a bigger deal at the time?" but i'd like to step back and ask a couple of different questions: 1. what is the non-sinister explanation for this? how could this be some sort of "well intentioned mistake" as opposed to something much darker? if there is one or is some aspect i'm missing, i'd honestly like to hear it. 2. where were these children even coming from? who were they? where were their parents? how did they get to and cross the border? those crossings are no place for unaccompanied kids. who brought them there? were they willing or were they coerced? that second question seems like one that has gotten worryingly short shrift. it makes me suspect there was something organized behind this, something that really needs to be dragged out into the light.
