Another analysis that comes to mind when listening to this distinction between rich and poor kids is that the former enjoys the stability of money, whereas the latter suffers from scarcity. This in turn suggests that the rich have an abundance mindset meaning they appear to have better self-control because they believe they can get this stuff later, if not now. By contrast, the poor experience a scarcity mindset, which makes them believe that the things in front of them might not be available later, prompting the immediate consumption. The stability offered by abundance and the volatility experienced by scarcity create lifelong hard-wired patterns in individuals or groups that most likely remain with them for life.

If by rich parents he means, rich with parenting knowledge, then that's spot on. But if he means rich economically, then he couldn't be more wrong.

lol, i grow from poor family, but i smile to my teacher, kind to everyone.. no matter how harsh my parents teach me.. while the rich often bullied people, so... WHICH LONG SENTENCES they use to teach that their rich kid?

My dad passed away when I was 11, my mum had no money to sustain, had to start working in subway at 14-15. At around 21 I had no girl, $500 in bank account, not even health because I was smoking weed and had back pains at that age.🤣. Today at 33, build a +$100M company, have an amazing family (wife, daughter, mother, brother…), and take care of my health “Bryan Johnson mode”. PD: If I ever touched a fire my mum would slap me and tell me I’m a fucking idiot. This new analyzing everything is bullshit.

Still, why so many rich kids are entitled and commit vile crimes? For instance, the son of Norway's crown princess charged with rape? Li Tianyi, the son of a high-ranking general involved in a notorious 2013 gang-rape. Then, those differences don't matter at the end

I wanna add this this little gem from another philosopher we know and love:

In the 1950s, Basil Bernstein proposed the deficit hypothesis in sociolinguistics. He theorized that the language of the lower class was inferior to that of the middle and upper classes. He distinguished between restricted code and elaborate code. The restricted code stands for,

I am Brazilian, I don't have children, but I know people who do. Rich and poor. And that's basically what happens here.

"poor" and "rich" is just different levels of entropy. doesnt have anything to do with being poor itself but poor people usually are just worse humans. less effective, dumber, shorter term.

Imagine poor kids being used to friendly languages trying to survive in ghettos 😭 Good luck poor kids with rich kids skill set 🥹

Abelist Crusade marches Since 2016, breeding Mothers and Synth Wombs have forged 200 million souls for the Imperial civilization Propel them toward the stars We are faith mad mammal Over invested in our next generation Purge the heretical enemies of civilization No pity No fear

If you take an average rock kid American and a poor Asian kid- who are well behaved and well mannered?

@grok which lecture is this?

The last ten seconds of the video are the most meaningful. Understanding and applying this knowledge will help countless families produce and raise healthy, confident and happy families. I’m curious how the instructor has so much qualitative insight. Inspires in me the thought that he maybe had humble beginnings himself? Or worked with these populations closely?

@gladicon_ Rich kid, poor kid. #PredictiveHistory

The only sense in this video is when parents explain things to kids than doing yes or No. But another thing a bullshit. When I tell my kids I will take them to Thailand for vacation and my wife is sick do you think I should still travel? Bullshit

When you are parenting poor, You are living in “fight or flight” survival mode. There is not time for rational or emotional understanding and judgement, JUST SURVIVAL! Therefore: Ain’t nobody got time for that intelligent shit, “don’t touch the hot stove, dummy” 😂😂😅

Rich kids are always demanding.

I’ve heard Norway has a 17% recidivism rate compared to our punitive 35% Norway has a very unique prison system. This is an interesting lecture but I grew up with rich kids and some parents were abusive sons of bitches.

Rich/poor here is not about money… it’s more about mentality & reasonability…

Such a great explanation!! It’s unnerving how you can easily see as adults who was raised by rich or poor parents by how they communicate

@SalrooMursaleen

@grok how to raise a rich kid today

😂

Not rich. The people of culture…

Information

I do both. I discipline

@etanucil

Love it when Chinese explain human traits.

And really, you should trust your teacher?

This is false. There are wayyyy more rich kids tha crash out on their parents than poor kids tha crash out on their parents. And rich parents crash out wayyy more than poor parents do. You just never see the crash out on rich parents UNTIL….. a documentary comes out.

This is rather reductive.

💜

so lets get an example... people like Donald Trump lets say... he is not raise by rich family then..? 🙄🤣
