Introducing /visual-plan - a skill to generate rich, visual plans for Claude Code and Codex. Plan mode in Claude Code is incredible. But I always find my eyes glazing over when it gives me this huge markdown essay in my terminal. I found I can make much better visual plans with reusable components. So I made a skill called `/visual-plan`. It generates plans as MDX with visual, interactive components. Diagrams, interactive API specs, schema design changes, annotated code, and even pan and zoomable wireframes. So for any UI work, you can look at a wireframe first, comment on it, iterate, and then have the agent work. I’ve found this to be a much more intuitive interface for reasoning about what the agent is doing. It’s somewhat inspired by that popular post about how HTML is better than Markdown. But HTML can be slow and verbose to write. And it doesn’t look good checked into a repo. This has really made me feel like humans and engineering are entering a new abstraction phase, where we reason about things at the plan level. As long as the plan is good, agents are getting more and more reliable at executing on it. Almost to the degree that we trust the C compiler to compile to assembly reliably. Plans are the new intermediate representation. I also made a skill for the reverse of this, called `/visual-recap`. After the agent works, it gives you a recap of everything it did. Same idea: wireframes, interactive API specs and diffs, schemas, annotated code, etc. So now when you’re reviewing what the agent did for you, or looking at a pull request of somebody else’s code, you can see a visual recap instead of just reading a wall of text. It’s all free and open source. You can find it on my GitHub. Will link to it in the reply because we all know how dumb these algorithms are with links.

LA County Wildfires 2-Week Recap: In the wake of devastating wildfires, our Global Empowerment Mission #BStrong teams were on the ground within 48 hours, delivering immediate relief. Families have lost homes, their personal belongings, and most of all security, and stability. 5/14/2026 Daily Recap: Hindenburg omen strikes again. - $QQQ $SPY closed up on the day one again reaching 10x ATR extension from he 50sma. - We saw a healthy pause in the Memory and optic sector which had been running a little hot $AAOI $LITE $MU $SNDK $WDC $STX - $BE new all time closing high trying to come out of a high tight flag. - $CRCL stuck in neutral after the senate banking committee passes the clarity act. - $IGV appears to be seeing more participation today from an already beaten up cohort of software stocks. Either degrossing of shorts or accumulation of beaten up names is yet to be seen, but plenty of names catching a bid off the bottom. - $USO continues to hold up incredibly well but we seem to be looking past the idea of higher gas prices for now. $XLE constructive chart. - $NVDA market leader running away but starting to get a touched stretched in its own right. - $CBRS new IPO opens today oversubscribed. Halts into $385 and that marks the top. I am of the opinion that these richly valued IPOs are a money grab here and a multiweek fade will sour the mood for other equally rich valued IPOs down the pipeline. - Neo Clouds continue to act like one of the better young groups in the market. $NBIS $IREN $HUT $WULF $CIFR. - New positions are still fine but just be mindful of your position sizing and tight leash on new merchandise. - Let your leaders work if you own them!

Hours before the talks began Ukraine unleashed a massive drone strike on Russia, killing at least 3 people. Russia said it shot down 337 Ukrainian drones overnight, marking the biggest drone assault in 3 years. The Moscow region saw 91 drones destroyed. 3. Trump accused Canada of imposing 250-390% tariffs on American farm products while Ontario just added a 25% surcharge on electricity. He promised reciprocal measures starting April 2, challenging Canadian imports directly: "We don't need your Cars, we don't need your Lumber, we don't need your Energy." 4. Greenland is voting for a new parliament today while Trump pushes for influence over the Arctic island. The territory, home to 56,000 people, is rich in rare earth minerals and sits in a key military location in the North Atlantic. 5. More than 2,000 correctional officers have been fired after refusing to return to work following a 22-day illegal strike across New York state prisons.
