Richard Madeley says he felt uncomfortable applauding NHS workers during Covid because it seemed so uncritical. He doesn't say what criticism those workers risking their lives to save others while wearing bin bags deserved #GMB

He's a tw*t

Madeley is unlikely ever be applauded by the British public en masse.

God he’s gross What a projection. We are in the era of demons put on pedestals, and angels cast as villains, the world is upside down

I wouldn’t pay much attention to what the World’s highest paid shoplifter has to say.

@helenmallam Richard should move to GB News where he'd be more at home and then I wouldn't have to hear his shite whilst having my breakfast...

Indeed. It's a ridiculous statement. People died while others partied and or got rich.

@helenmallam Wasn’t this man once done for shoplifting, and yet week after week he is on our tv screens attacking other members of our society.

Absolute bellend.

@SeptemberRisin1 I cringed as well but only because the NHS deserved far more than a clap. In the end the NHS was treated with contempt.

OMG what an awful person he is.
