Israel’s war isn’t just affecting us as a people in Gaza, it’s a war on every living and breathing thing in the Gaza Strip. Our people, our land and water, our entire environment, our homes, our animals and birds, our ocean, our memories, our streets and favorite places and everything that we love about Gaza. It’s affecting our physical and mental health. We are really suffering and I wish someone would stop this genocide. All those people you see who were forcibly displaced and had to walk for 5 or more hours to go south and leave their homes behind are suffering. Some of them are elders who couldn’t walk, and have already witnessed the ethnic cleansing during the 1948 Nakba, and were forcibly expelled from their homes in northern Palestine to Gaza. This is a genocide. This is ethnic cleansing. We deserve a better life. Ceasefire now

As you look at these pathetic losers proudly standing for foreign illegal criminals, just remember that they never stood up for their fellow Americans under draconian mandates, not when so many were dying after forced shots, not when seniors were dying alone in nursing homes and loved ones in hospitals, and not when countless people lost their businesses or jobs and struggled to support their families. Why? Because their politicians and the media never told them to. Yet they have the nerve to call us a cult.

24 MILES CLOSER TO THE END. Day 44 of running the entire length of the UK to raise money for mind and mental health. It’s days like this when you realise what your body can do. Set out to do 20 miles from Airdrie to Stirling but after a few wrong turns it ticked over to just shy of 24. It’s been one of the worst day mileage wise but to push that bit further meant so much more for my head. Thank you to Harry and my family for putting up with many phone calls today and for pushing me through the run. 2 weeks now until I can see them all again. It’s tired and I’m soppy but thank you to everyone who’s supported me on the journey. To the hundreds who’ve beeped, waved and spoke to me on this challenge. To the people on here who have liked, commented or donated- it truly means everything. We keep spreading the word of mental health. You are never alone, you are so loved ❤️ Day: 44 Day KM: 38.47 (23.9 miles) Total KM: 986.27 (612.84 miles) Total money raised for Mind: £39,538

Last night we hosted our very first Kent Reform U.K. summer ball and what a fantastic event it was! Hundreds of wonderful Reform councillors, members, supporters, friends and family enjoyed fabulous food, wine and plenty of dancing 💃🏽 🕺as we celebrated the year. Massive thanks to Richard Tice MP 🇬🇧 Matt Goodwin and Cllr George Finch for their brilliant speeches. Reformers certainly know how to work hard and have fun!! 🩵

Fun fact: Elon Musk and SpaceX failed their first 3 attempts to launch the Falcon 1 into orbit. By 2008 when the 4th launch was scheduled, Elon said SpaceX was essentially on its last available money for Falcon 1. So either succeed, or face doom as a company. The fourth launch succeeded and the rest is history.

When will people realize that AI is not being developed to replace you at your job, nor to give you a high universal income, but to literally replace you in their doomsday bunkers so they can have their Golden Age after the Geophysical Event? Why would they waste time, money, and resources saving doctors, engineers, coders, workers, and guards — and risk being overthrown after the event — when they can preserve all human knowledge in the form of AI, and robots can serve as their workers, surgeons, and guards?

A new report puts a hard number on what rising heat is expected to cost in human lives. By 2050, extreme heat driven by climate change could kill an extra 430,000 people every year. The elephants at our Nairobi Nursery love their days out exploring in the forest, but they also love the call of their bedrooms in the evening! Waiting for their arrival, bottles of warm milk, freshly mixed by their Keepers! Tonight, it was the turn of Mzinga to lead the home time charge, closely followed by Nyambeni, Shujaa and little Olomunyak. Each of these elephants was rescued as an orphan. With your support, we will rehabilitate them so that they can return to a fully wild life when grown. The people of Malakand want a Pakistan where their government is more concerned about their progress than in perpetrating a vicious cycle of political victimisation. Inshallah if I am elected Prime Minister I will start a process of reconciliation so we can bury the old politics of revenge, divisiveness and hatred. The people deserve a government focused on ending poverty, unemployment, and inflation. Vote teer on 8th February and put an end to old politics, and for a better tomorrow for all Pakistanis #چنو_نئی_سوچ_کو

A lot of elderly people and their caregivers worry about falls. Falls kill thousands of elderly people each year. So it’s easy to tell grandma to stay in her bed or chair so they never fall. This is a terrible idea IMO. Lack of movement guarantees poor health and decline among the elderly. Instead we take a different approach. We reduce fall risk by strength training and balance exercises We want our residents to be too strong and fit to fall!
