Someone needs to string together every Scott interview and commentary he's done over the years. I think it was the Bladerunner director's cut, but whilst smoking, he intro'd it and openly commented about how the studio was just trying to squeeze more money out of him, haha.

He's The Ridley Scott. They're treating him like he's some newcomer director. Christopher Nolan admiring him is normal. Stop hyping up things.
