the face acting is SO expressive!! i love the dedication!! i want to add on this topic as a live2d rigger! i get asked alot on stream how i get my model so bouncy and animated like do i nod like a bobblehead? am i jumping in my seat?? and the answer is: NOPE! 🧵 here's some things i did to achieve this: ☑️connecting brow movement to shoulder shrugs ☑️syncing mouth forms to model bounces (this might be too much depending on how expressive you are) ☑️rigging mouth shapes to influence eye movement ☑️adding body bounce physics would anyone be interested in a youtube breakdown? because i have THOUGHTS being expressive facially can really help the model be more life-like & ressnie did an amazing job!! rigging plays a huge part too! the amount of life you can breathe into a model through rigging is insane!! I LOVE MAKING VTUBERSSS

In Germany, a woman noticed that her cat started sleeping on her neck every night. The cat had never done this before, and she couldn’t understand why. Med Ball Spikeball Variation Some rules: • Everyone has to touch the ball 1 time before returning it to the box • If a team fails to have everyone on their team touch it or fail to return it to the box then it’s the opposite teams point. • The ball must hit the box and go up. If it hits the side/corner of the box and immediately goes down it is the other teams point. You can all adjust and make up your own rules! Can be played 2v2, 3v3, or even 4v4. (3v3 seems to be the best) We played as a warm up before our lift. But it can be a workout if it’s own! Anyone played this? I can't believe how good this turned out. Recently, I put out my first physics paper proposing that life and the universe might be the result of a law governing how oscillators sync up and couple together. I find it beautiful, awe-inspiring, and deeply meaningful. It aligns with how I have always seen the world. It suggests that there is an arrow of negative entropy, a law governing how life forms in all of its complexity. Learning about it is intimidating. I am self-taught, and have struggled for months to understand and articulate the core concepts and framework. After I put out the paper, I was challenged by Danielle Fong 🔆 to make an 'explorable explanation'. A guide you can walk through, and which will hold your hand through each concept, equation, and principle. It was amazing to make. In fact, I plan to make many more covering the wide range of topics I have been researching and exploring. Both to help me, and because I believe that this is something the world needs right now. I’m asking for all the prayers, love, and support you can send my way right now ❤️ About eight days ago, my husband left me. After years of battling abuse, I finally found the courage to kick him out and not take him back. Now I’m trying to pick up the pieces of my life, stand on my own two feet, and figure out what’s next. I’m left dealing with severe health issues that have landed me in the hospital from dehydration and neglect since he walked away. I have no help, I don’t know my legal rights (like whether I can change the locks), and I’m trying to find the right attorney to move forward. I feel completely helpless, but I still have a roof over my head — thank God for that. If it wasn’t for Him, I wouldn’t even be here writing this. Please keep me in your prayers as I slowly try to stand again. I love you all and just need some time and a whole lot of prayer support right now. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. 💜

Why did you leave out the part that says “I have different views on Israel than Candace, I have different views on Geo Politics?” Also, we all know that he was more gracious than you’ll ever be.. Also, before he was ass@ssinated you didn’t att@ck his wife and TPUSA, so what are you trying to prove? I don't understand how our politicians have such disconnect between what could be and results. Minister of Finance François-Philippe Champagne: "Bragging, Canada was the first country in the world to have an AI national strategy and Canada was the first country to have a Quantum national strategy." And yet we are not in the top 10 in either field, with single American companies have more capital invested than our whole sector worth, and some of the leading companies we did have left for the US. Bureaucrats need to understand that what requires to develop a PowerPoint presentation and industries are very different.

I have a little robot that unlocks my door from the inside (so I don't have to carry a key) The problem was it wouldn't calibrate on my door. It was designed for 90° turns, but my lock only needs 15° In the past, this would've been a showstopper But I asked AI if it could help... At first, it suggested I snoop on the bluetooth connection to figure out the protocol Then it realized that we could probably just decompile the app's SDK and read its source code. That worked! It told me to switch to my mac and run some python for it. Unfortunately, it couldn't run the scripts directly because Claude Code Desktop didn't have bluetooth permissions, but my shell did. Thinking about it now, I probably should've used Claude Code or Codex in the Terminal. Anyways, it took a while, lots of backs and forths, we had some misunderstandings, it was massively overcautious in the beginning, but we finally got the lock calibrated! Feels like magic! I threw the repo up on github in case anyone in the future (ie me) runs into a similar issue – hopefully it can save them some time

I havent seen anyone post about it but one thing that stood out to me the most from the MW4 briefing is how sick the Tactical Nuke animation is. Tactical Nuke is back but the animation is completely different. You call it in a small phone and then a buckle into a skyhook a plane grabs right before the nuke drops and you look back at the map getting nuked. You also flip the map off as you fly away Its one of the sickest things I saw. The video below is an example from MW3 of what i mean.

2:14am. Something failed. I was asleep. By 8 it was scoped, patched, and written up. Not just fixed. Written up, with the log excerpt, what it touched, and the one decision he wanted me to sign off before it stayed in. I have been building agentic systems long enough to be suspicious of exactly this. The output usually works and has no taste, and you find out three weeks later what it quietly assumed. What made this different was that it did not close the loop by itself. It did the work and left the judgement to me. Order of operations matters more than capability. Same inputs, wrong sequence, completely different outcome. This one got the sequence right: act, then ask. Viktor

I don't have all the answers here, but I have thought about this a *lot*, so hopefully I have some: 1) Society needs both great men and Great Men. Every man should aspire to be the former; aspiring to the latter is unwise, as "the true road lies in quite another direction." 2) Life is WAY easier when you integrate your personal and professional life to the maximum degree. I try (extremely hard) to be the same person to my wife, kids, friends, co-workers, and strangers on the internet. Then fun time, family time, and work time can all use the same oh-so-finite minutes of the day! 2a) Tactically — bring your kids/family along with you on adventures. My kids have been to some incredibly non-kid-friendly places: space conferences, podcast recordings, industrial facilities, rocket launches, etc. And those adventures have been are some of my (and their!) most treasured memories. 3) You absolutely must become a morning person. Sorry. 4) I found that fatherhood was the ANSWER to my hunger in many ways. I was ambitious, certainly. But having kids made me realize that "ambition" is kinda fake; it's striving without a true end goal. (No, fame, riches, and "doing something important" are not true end goals.) 4a) As soon as you look your own child in the eyes — now THERE'S an end goal. Ineffable to anyone who hasn't had a kid, maybe, but I had an immediate, intense desire to keep my kids safe, and loved, and fulfilled. And a lifetime of anxious wondering if I was doing the right thing just washed away... there was the right thing, in my arms! 4b) Goals are awesome. I love goals. They are how I find motivation. But I have learned through a lot of trial and error that goals that focus on Me Me Me are unfulfilling even if I achieve them. Naked ambition is the ultimate Me Me Me goal... and it's much better to set goals about who you want to be to other people. (I need to write more about this; it's basically Alasdair Macintyre's read of Virtue Ethics, if folks are curious.) 4c) A tweet that has always stuck in my mind forever: "oh you're "high agency"? that's cool, what can other people rely on you for?" 5) If I've learned just one thing about "difficult" experiences in life, it's that as soon as you increase the difficulty level further, what you did before seems easy. Like the pre-kid life to me, now. Therefore, the answer to feeling like you can't possibly be a great dad and great in your career.... is to have even more kids!! (Kidding. Kinda.)

Wait…some ppl are saying this kiss isn’t passionate?? That this kiss shows they have no chemistry anymore??? THIS KISS?? The way Phu gets lost in the kiss and completely let’s himself go? The way he is kissing Cir back just as desperately?? The way they are SUCKING on each other’s lips as if the other one is water and he is dying of thirst??? Just bcs there is not tongue involved or bcs its not an open-mouthed kiss does not mean it isn’t passionate. I’ve spoke with the police and have identified him at the station, and there are currently three warrants out for his arrest. Recently, he tried to make contact with me again and I am once again feeling unsafe in my own home. I ask that you please share this video and if anyone has any insight to his whereabouts to please contact me or inform the police. I want this man off the streets. #grindfacetv

"I'm driving down the road this morning and the cars in front of me are driving over a black thing on the road. It's going between their tires, so I guess it's a box. It's a kitten sitting down, shaking like a leaf. And some asshole had smeared glue on his paws and stuck him to the road I thought he might have stepped in some glue somewhere but after looking at him it was totally smeared in her paws. She was wet, freezing and literally stuck to the road. And no one stopped. 😳 What the h#%l, people??? I braked hard and stopped all traffic , I put on my hazard lights, got out and pulled him out of the road. People were honking and all pissed off. ...really??? That's a kitten glued to the road!!! So after a bath, food and cream, we have a new kitten. The luckiest kitten in the world!"
