Right now, someone making $1 billion a year pays the exact same amount into Social Security as someone making $170,000. We can fix this & make sure billionaires pay their fair share—but Republicans are standing in the way.

Do they receive higher benefits when eligible to draw? No! So why should they pay more? Just another case of you whacko liberals wanting to punish success.

That’s because there’s a cap on Social Security which you can max out yearly and has been that way for at least 20 years that I know of. It all works when you don’t give away Social Security to people who’ve never paid in at all and that’s exactly what you wanna do. Taking from one person and given it to another is communism, people just need an opportunity to make their own money. Stop acting like a dictator.

What your saying is “we should steal people’s money because they are rich”…it’s offensive and immoral..also, I want billionaires to have every penny that’s theirs because it benefits society much more if they allocate capital rather than the government…sorry..

You have been on tne Senate for three decades... Pandering is pathetic Patty....

Right now there are millions getting Social Security that never paid into it. Stop the waste fraud and abuse! Do your job. Class warfare is all you got.

I got a idea Quit giving it to illegals Answer me this what happens to all the social security that people die before they collect. It’s in the billions

Your 'fix' is always to take more money from Americans. Maybe stop all your crazy spending and giveaways? No illegal alien should have their hand in our social security pot - fix that!

Right now, someone making $1 billion a year receives the exact same amount from Social Security as someone making $170,000, once they retire. Do you plan to "fix" that too, or is this yet another grab for other people's money? Back off, and make government live within our means, not this bloated version.

Because earnings are tied to the paid benefit upon retiring. Are you willing to let those who earn more than 170k get a larger benefit? Because that’s how the rules are written

We aren't going to fix what you broke because it's our money, and you have no right to it. EVs were subsidized for consumers using SS benefits and now pandering patty wants more of our tax dollars to pay back the money her policy spent using the SS money.
