Flying is incredibly Safe. It’s completely normal to feel anxious about flying after the tragic Air India crash yesterday. The constant stream of distressing media coverage, filled with sensationalised headlines and unqualified speculation, only adds to that anxiety. What’s even more disturbing is the wave of graphic images and videos being reposted across social media, often accompanied by baseless theories from so-called “experts”. Thoughtless individuals chasing engagement rather than showing compassion. Real lives were lost. Real families are grieving. Dignity and respect must come first. What we didn’t see in the headlines or on our feeds yesterday were the 70,000 other flights that took off and landed safely, just as they do every day. These flights operate with strict adherence to safety protocols, rigorous training, and the coordinated work of thousands of professionals in the air and on the ground. More than 4 million people fly every day. Today, I was one of them, travelling on two separate flights. Despite it being Friday the 13th, and despite the shadow cast by yesterday’s events, we boarded with confidence. Because flying is incredibly safe. Let’s honour the victims with the respect and dignity they deserve. 💔 In times like these, let’s not allow fear, misinformation, or sensationalism to shape our understanding — or shake our trust in the safety of air travel. Charlie Kirk’s death has been celebrated like nothing I’ve ever seen. I’ve always been moderate, and I’ve criticized Charlie Kirk openly in the past. But this isn’t about whether you agreed with him politically. It’s about the sickness in our culture that now treats a horrific tragedy as entertainment. Younger people especially seem disturbingly unempathetic. The sheer volume of videos and posts celebrating his death—with hundreds of thousands of likes—shows how far things have slipped. The left has fostered a culture where open violence isn’t just tolerated, it’s cheered. Ask yourself this: if Obama or Kamala were gunned down, does anyone really believe the right would react the same way? People were celebrating Charlie’s Death in the streets across the country the literal day he died. Republicans aren’t spotless, I realize this. When two Minnesota politicians were executed, there were a handful who celebrated—but they were condemned across the board. That’s the difference. On the left, this kind of behavior is brushed aside, amplified, even mainstreamed. As someone younger, I’ve watched my generation lose its grip on empathy. Older people say, “It’s like they don’t even care about his family or his children.” And they’re right. Universities and our wider culture have taught kids to disregard faith, family, and any higher sense of responsibility. The result is a generation of detached, selfish people who treat death like a meme. I don’t mean to paint with a broad brush, I know young, left-leaning people who are compassionate. But this moment has stripped away the illusion that the problem isn’t real. The cultural rot is staring us in the face. Charlie was a divisive figure and he certainly could be tribal. But he never celebrated violence against those he disagreed with. He never called for blood. There’s no hopeful ending here. I fear for what this country has become, and for the generation of extremists it’s raising.

Let’s be absolutely clear with the facts from today’s “march against the far right” which I attended from the start. 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 1. These were left-wing organisations from all over the UK. Every union under the sun was in attendance. National Education Union are definitely indoctrinating children within the teacher and school environment, just look at their presence today. It is very concerning. Watch what they teach your kids. They, as an education union, along with Unite the union: join a union, were also fighting over who got to be at the front of the march today, thanks to two lesbian powerhouses not having it. Comedy gold 😂 2. The second video shows over 100 coaches being used to bus in all these so-called “concerned citizens” on organised transport. They are all part of a left-wing narrative which just doesn’t work anymore, we see exactly what they are doing. That was the entire left-wing loony left in attendance. That’s it. That’s them. This is a major point! We have millions who know what’s right, and the left wing in this country is about to get the shock of their lives in the next elections, swept off the map. That was a panic march. They know it’s coming! 3. There was no working class at this march! Fact! It was all middle and upper class people who attend the usual Palestine marches and Palestine Action events. They hate the Union Jack flag and they hate the working class. This was a stunt by the well-organised unions to pretend the country is behind them which it is not. And that was clear as day to witness today. Also a clear panic march. 4. We don’t have much to worry about. These people are not in the real world. They are privileged and wealthy. And as I said, that’s the crowd, that’s them. My son’s coach pitch team won their playoff game Saturday. But he barely remembers the game. After the game, we had a potluck at the park. I brought out my Legends summer camp playlist, fired up the speaker, and before long... Every player and sibling was singing and dancing for well over an hour. It was pure joy. Parents laughed. Took photos and videos. Bonded. And on the walk back to the car, my son looked at me and said: “Dad, that party was so much fun.” He didn’t even mention the game. And that stuck with me. As youth coaches, we have limited impact on what happens between the lines. We can teach the game. We can prepare. But we can’t control the outcome. Where we can have the most impact… Is outside the lines. That’s where the magic lives. That’s where the memories are made. So yes—let’s compete. Let’s aim to win. But what if we tried to out-fun everyone instead of just outplay them? What if we made intentional space for kids to be kids? To dance. To sing. To laugh. To play. Because years from now... They won’t remember the batting order. But they will remember that dance off.

Again me with AnimGraph2 gameplay moments :D It's just more enjoyable, and we all play on 63+ ping. Bullets go where I aim and I am more confident with taps. I don't even think about ping difference. 2 days ago I played faceit, I have 40 ping, and my enemy with 60+ ping runs out and kills me, I can't even see him. In AG2 I hold angles on high ping. If you have a chance, try it, but don't expect perfection. Valorant has 128tick servers, slower animations and still you can't always hold an angle. And we are talking about beta here, not a full release. We had a guy complaining and saying it was bad at the start — but by the end, even he had to admit it was actually better. Before someone say that I test against noobs, some of these clips are against 3400 elo players.

He had come home from Vietnam a long time ago, but some nights never seemed as far away as they should have. Most days, Walter was steady. He mowed his lawn, fixed the loose rail by the steps, and waved at every neighbor who passed. Loud sudden sounds were the one thing that could still pull the room out from under him. That night, the first fireworks started before it was fully dark. Walter stayed outside anyway. He sat on the porch steps with his cap low over his face, trying to breathe through each burst like he’d done so many times before. Duke watched him from the walkway. The black shepherd mix had been with Walter for three years. He knew the small things: the way Walter’s shoulders tightened before he said he was fine, the way his fingers curled when the noise got too close, the way silence after a loud boom sometimes scared him more than the boom itself. Another firework cracked over the neighborhood, and Walter covered his face with both hands. Duke came up the steps slowly. He didn’t crowd him. He just walked close enough, waited a second, then rested his head on Walter’s knee. Walter’s hand dropped almost right away. He touched Duke’s ear, then the side of his neck, and his breathing started to slow. The fireworks kept going behind them, lighting the street in red and white, but Walter wasn’t alone with the sound anymore. After a while, he leaned forward and held Duke with both arms. “Good boy,” he whispered. Duke stayed there until the noise moved farther away. What has your dog done when they somehow knew you needed them?

These protesters are united by HUNGER and not by ETHNICITY, RELIGION or FINANCIAL INDUCEMENT... They were provoked by the extravagant lifestyles of their leaders who keep telling them to be patient from one government to another. They've been largely peaceful despite attacks from physical and online bullies who pretend never to have participated in street protests before. There is no country in the world where protests are absolutely peaceful... I pray the government will do what is right by addressing their grievances instead of attacking them... Protest is an integral part of DEMOCRACY & CIVILISATION... CHIEF MOSHOOD & KUDIRAT ABIOLA, PA ALFRED REWANE and others died for what some people are toying with today. They can never be brought back but we shall always remember their uncommon sacrifices...

“I’m not big on social media or any of that…I just happen to be really good at fighting,” Anthony “Fluffy” Hernandez told Ariel Helwani in February 2024. 18 months later, Hernandez has now rattled off 8 straight wins, 6 by finish, proving once again that he is infact “really good” at fighting. At this point, he’s made it clear he’s one of the best middleweights in the world. He’s also one of those compelling under the radar personalities that make people love combat sports, except he rarely tells his story, and you won’t catch him chasing clout, followers, or living on social media. At home, he is surrounded by life. 4 children 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 4 chickens 🐓 (that roam not just the yard but the house) 3 dogs 🐕 2 cats 🐈 and a couple of ball pythons 🐍 Growing up on a ranch, animals were always part of his world, and now living in a city, keeping them around is his way of carrying that upbringing with him. One of the most important things in his house is never showing fear to his kids. Hernandez believes fear is taught by parents. “If I’m not afraid of sh*t and I don’t show fear, I think my kids will be fine…let them find out by themselves.” It’s clear Hernandez fears little and rather enjoys the violence of MMA. At 15, tipping the scales at over 250lbs, he was already trading shots with pros at small smoker shows and full-on scrapping with friends on their front lawns. But once he stepped into an actual gym, he became obsessed with the sport and clearly has never looked back. Last night he put on an absolute clinic against the 9th ranked Roman Dolidze, finishing him with one of the more savage RNC submissions you will see. The timing of this performance couldn’t be better with the middleweight title up for grabs next weekend. And while he admittedly rarely keeps up with the MMA landscape, you can bet Fluffy will be watching the result closely, knowing his opportunity to wear UFC gold could be coming sooner rather than later. Just a reminder: while in office, Mendel physically confronted and harassed journalists (video attached). She did not hold the position for long, but during that time she was involved in multiple cringe-worthy scandals and controversial statements. Some of my colleagues in D.C. have been texting me for a while asking what happened to her. The answer is simple: nothing happened to her — she was always like this. Inside Ukraine, she was never taken very seriously. Somehow, though, she managed to build credibility abroad, especially in the U.S., and gained a large following on Twitter. Zelenskyy’s team was very different when he first took office compared to what it is today. But even back then, they quickly realized hiring her was a mistake, and she was let go. The only real difference now may be that she is acting openly as a Russian asset. Or perhaps she is simply trying to use this scandal to gain legal status in the U.S. as someone claiming political persecution.

Americans have never had it easy. Long before social media, long before the internet, and long before modern conveniences, ordinary families faced challenges that would break most people today. During the Dust Bowl of the 1930s, massive walls of dust rolled across the Texas Panhandle. Crops failed. Livestock died. Families lost homes, savings, and sometimes everything they owned. Many packed up and left. Many had no choice. But many stayed. They endured storm after storm, drought after drought, believing that better days would eventually come. They rebuilt fences. They planted fields again. They got up every morning and kept moving forward, even when there was little reason for optimism. They weren’t famous. They weren’t looking for recognition. They were simply determined to leave something better for the next generation. The Texas Panhandle we know today exists because people like that refused to quit. When you see an old farmhouse, a ranch, a small town church, or a family farm that’s been around for generations, remember that somebody fought through hardships most of us can barely imagine to keep it standing. The story of America has never been about having an easy road. It’s about meeting hard times head on and refusing to surrender. That’s the spirit that built Texas.
