Something I think ppl are missing is the impact that simple AI-based web apps will have on actual App Store apps. Bc internet pages can appear on iPhone screens with an app icon, web apps like this may be indistinguishable from (& compete with) actual App Store apps

i think people will still build and distribute apps to others, but this probably lowers the bar for what you build yourself vs look for solutions to in the app store. i see this as a similar paradigm shift as spreadsheets.

Totally agree. A+ tier apps will always exist. But such a large % of apps in the App Store do one basic thing, and I’m convinced AI will replace those within the next couple of years.
