Grenada 1983/84. My crew chief here. On this day I was tasked w/assisting delivering hot meals via helo. Dont know the operating cost per hour of a BlackHawk but it’s a whole lot less valuable than the moral boost of the troops lying in a humid jungle! Took this photo on landing

Thanks for sharing this Joey. Can see it triggered some emotions as you were talking. This story will stick with me. I was a peacetime soldier in the 80's and brought back a flood of memories of guys I served with. RIP Brian.

Of all the money we as taxpayers give to the IRS, I can tell you I’m HAPPY that my taxes have gone to feed OUR HEROES steak and lobster. I would like to strip some money from Democrats who love giving our tax dollars to illegal aliens and HOW DARE they complain about providing steak and lobster occasionally for the PEOPLE who literally will give up their life to protect Americans.
