A brilliant rendition of a wonderful song. So sad to hear that Christy has passed away. A talent matched by the character of the man himself. Rest easy Christy. Your legacy will forever live in your music.๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’š๐ŸŽถ

Goosebumps. My Dad was Irish descent and Sunday mornings before the pub, well most days before the pub we had Irish music playing as loud as it could. I remember this one, even knew the next words. Not heard since perhaps the mid 70's or early 80's. Bless.

I grew up in Australia but heard this song as a child. This is the best rendition ever and never fails to bring a lump to the throat and a tear to my eye. Rest in peace Christy.
