"Honestly, if I was to fight for the title, I think I would prefer somebody else to be champ. Merab's always been a good guy to me and my family. I actually trained with him for Sean O'Malley. I don't think he'll get mad if I say this right now, because the fight already passed, but when I trained with him last, we were grappling and I went for a takedown and I made him hit his head on the wall. I'm pretty sure he got a concussion because he didn't train for the rest of the week. I felt bad, but thankfully he recovered and then he went out there and did a crazy performance. I truly respect that and he kept that to himself. He didn't put it out there for an excuse or nothing, so I respect that." Raul Rosas Jr. on his relationship with Merab Dvalishvili.
