he was a pretty courageous president too... the only reason he couldn't get the hostages back is because Reagan and the gop committed treason and sabotaged him, otherwise he was a pretty courageous and progressive president

I'll never forget he wrote several letters to the government about the whereabouts of my kidnapped uncle back in the 90's. Always grateful to him for that even though we never got answers.
