with that “real mouth flavour”. Thank goodness for SCTV during the 3 channel days (the French station didn’t count) it was a something partially, not completely, different and entertaining, RIP Joe Flaherty. Pair up with Candy for a heavenly Ovi/Crosby remake.

Even better was the SCTV hockey movie with the Toronto Bay Leafs. As a kid watching it, I was thrilled when John Candy said at the end that he would rather play for the Chicago Black Hawks. 😂
