RIP John Anderson. Criminally underappreciated legend.

That song, is so good! A good old, country waltz. John Anderson, had some of the BEST songs, 1980's! "Underappreciated legend" would be true. May he rest in peace. 🙏

Damn. This one hurts. Country music lost a legend

One of the best for sure

What a voice 😢

He was one of the best !

He was so good.

You ain't lying man, absolutely criminal how underrated he is. One of the best and his voice is amazing, growing up my brother would play the guitar and I would sing Seminole wind on my front porch but wild and blue is my favorite of his.

Chicken truck chicken truck Behind it I'm stuck Chicken truck chicken truck Ain't it just my luck Chicken truck on Highway 65

Best in the business…

All day. Was listening to him 20 minutes before finding out he passed

😢😢

I stumbled upon this channel about 10 years ago. It has alot of great classic artist and once in a lifetime acoustic performances. It's a real diner and This to me is the best version of Semonole Wind. Sit back and enjoy as much as I have. God speed John.

I made a similar post. John was not big on long tours. He hit the tour bus hard from 93-95 and then went back to his normal handful of shows here and there. In fact I’m only aware of him twice visiting Pa (where I’m from) in my lifetime. He did a lot of state fairs and mostly stuck south. If you didn’t live there you had to travel to see him. I thought he was great live and wish more fans could’ve seen him perform, but I respect his talent and decision to stay more low key.

Do what? 😭

😢

Would you catch a Fallin star before it crashes to the ground 🎶

I hate this. Damn

I never saw him live but have his music. A great talent!!!

Man that's so sad

on a straight tequila night. RIP John

it probably doesn’t help to have the most generic name possible

Oct 21, 2026 We lost a legend 🙏❤️

😭

@breauxcountry

So underappreciated! When a man is friends with Willie, Merle, Waylon, Cash, and George Jones.... He was truly the real deal!!

♡

It was one of my all-time favorite. I don’t think he was underappreciated. I think people didn’t realize how talented he was.

Oh hell no!!!!

Another forgotten relic of great country... he was a legend.. now he's in heaven "just a swingin" R.I.P. John Anderson.

So much truth in that statement.

Won’t ever be anything like him again!

HOF !!!
