I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Mickey MacConnell, singer/songwriter from Co. Fermanagh, author of one of our finest ballads, "Only our rivers run free" my he R.I.P.

This time 50 years ago, a Catholic and Protestant pop group, from north and south, was busy making music to make people happy while others were busy making explosive dum-dum bullets to murder us. #MiamiShowband
