Such a wonderful Simpsons moment where the make an the obvious joke here but make ridiculously funny because the band plays the theme to Sanford And Son on cue.

For anyone wondering about what this is referencing (I always loved it but it seemed very random) it’s a reference to Red Foxx playing Vegas to not very many people, he was played on to this song, looked at the sparse crowd, said “Fuck this” and then the band played him off.

This tone has stuck with me since this episode first aired & hearing it again from sanford & son later
