I recommend you take a little looksie at your screens to determine whether or not the Pokémon you're shiny hunting is a different color before resetting. Hope this helps.

I have a shiny hunting patch that fixes the weird odds glitch in Emerald! That’s how I’ve been shiny hunting all my legendaries in the game, and so far all of them have been kind to me except Deoxys and formerly Registeel 😂
