RIP the $4,000/mo cold caller. Claude called 50 leads this afternoon, handled objections, booked 9 meetings, sent text confirmations, and followed up unanswered calls with a voicemail and SMS. Total cost: $18.60.

HERMES AGENT + ELEVENLABS JUST KILLED A $3,000/MO FRONT DESK - HERE'S THE MATH 👇 Run the unit economics on a clinic taking ~1,200 phone-minutes a month: Human side: → Answering service: $2.50/min × 1,200 = $3,000/mo → Annualized: $36,000/yr → Calls actually handled live: ~65% → ~420 min/mo dropped to voicemail AI side (Hermes + ElevenLabs): → Voice: ~$0.10/min × 1,200 = $120 → Number + inbound minutes: ~$1 + ~$16 = $17 → Model tokens behind Hermes: ~$8 → Total: ~$145/mo → $1,740/yr The delta: → $3,000 - $145 = $2,855 saved every month → $36,000 - $1,740 = $34,260/yr per location → That's a 95% cut on cost-per-call, and pickup goes from ~65% to 100% Now layer the revenue, not just the savings: → ~35% of calls (≈140/mo) used to die in voicemail → Recover just 10 of them as booked patients → At ~$300 first-visit value = +$3,000/mo recovered → Net monthly swing: $2,855 saved + $3,000 captured = ~$5,855/mo Payback on the afternoon it took to build: same day. Scott Adams sent President Trump to voicemail, and Trump called him back! Scott Adams: I see a Florida number and sent it to voicemail. A little bit later I thought, I better check that voicemail and see if that was anything I need to deal with. The first sentence in the transcription, “This is your favorite President.” Trump called again to check on Scott’s health, ending with a heartfelt: “If you need anything, I’ll make it happen.” Watch the story!

I just filmed 6 days of cold calls and door knocks building an AI agency from scratch. -No audience -No referrals -No warm intros 60 minutes of outreach a day. 198 leads, 15 conversations, 2 sales calls booked. This is the episode where I get hung up on. Here's what's in the video: → The opening line that got me hung up on twice (and the one that replaced it) → Why 2 door knocks booked 2 calls while 13 cold-call conversations booked zero → The $500 counter-pitch to an owner who paid $2,000 for a vibe-coded website → The exact text I send the second someone hangs up on me If you want to see what it's like being in the trenches selling AI to local businesses, this one breaks it all down. This is the stuff 99.9% of people aren't willing to do. Check it out below:

Claude Code found $710/mo hiding inside an agent loop that already looked “optimized” /cost-audit 1. feed it the usage log for every task 2. make it flag late Opus escalations, cold-cache rewrites and effort changes 3. let it rewrite the router, handoff and session rules around those failures this run scanned 4,812 calls across 1,000 tasks and found 3 leaks the biggest was late escalation from Sonnet to Opus after the fixes: $2,530/mo → $1,820/mo $710 saved on the same workload Claude Code can audit the system, not just write the code ↓

Sick hand between Nik Airball, Henry Guttman, and myself on @hustlercasinolive. Airball limps the SB for $200, I raise to $1,200 with A♠️J♠️, Henry calls the straddle with T❤️4❤️ and Airball comes along for the ride with A♣️9♣️. Flop: J❤️J♦️9❤️ Check, I bet $1,500 call, call. Turn: 5♣️ Airball leads $4,000. I call, and Henry calls. River: Q❤️ Airball checks, I check and Henry bets $10,000. What’s your move?

I asked Daniel Fazio what the easiest thing to sell right now is. It's so simple, but NO ONE wants to do it. "Done for you cold calling. It is so easy to sell, it's completely absurd. Nobody sells it because it's logistically intense. It's so difficult to consistently hire and manage cold callers. But that's exactly why it works. The supply of people cold calling is so low that nobody gets cold calls anymore. So when you connect a client with a good cold caller, they're booking 50, 60 meetings easily. With cold email they might get five or ten. No skilled operator would ever even attempt this, which is the entire moat." Full clip below 👇

Received this video from a former staffer of mine. It’s a leaking pipeline in the Permian Basin. They called the Carlsbad field office and no one picked up, so it can’t be reported or followed up on. The cost of the shutdown will be felt for decades.

this is f**king dangerous A business owner told Alex Hormozi he converts 55% of his leads. Not calls, leads. His secret: "My aunt, I pay her $60,000 a year and she has one job. The moment a lead comes in, you stop cooking, you stop loving your child, and you immediately call the lead." Then an agency owner builds that exact job for a dental clinic in ten minutes with Claude: it answers and books patients on WhatsApp, email, SMS, everything. Every client who's paid him over $2,000 came from it. $60,000 a year, replaced by one file. That's the skill ↓

3 missed calls a day = $30,000 a month gone. This is how a $178K/month agency cold calls. Connor Cahill called a roofing company in Austin 3 times in one day. Nobody picked up. So he called the owner: "good news or bad news?" Nobody hangs up on that. The bad news: 3 missed calls a day is 90 a month. At a 30% close rate and a $1,000 job, that is nearly $30,000 left on the table monthly. The owner pushed back. Full crew. Hates the idea of a robot on his phone. Connor agreed. Keep the human. Add AI only for the calls that hit voicemail at 6 p.m. A safety net, not a replacement. The offer: free for 30 days, then a tiny cut of the extra revenue. No result, no bill. The owner booked a 7 a.m. demo. The pitch was never the AI. It was the missing $30,000.

HERMES + ELEVENLABS TURNED A $3,000/MO ANSWERING SERVICE INTO A ~$145/MO AI THAT NEVER MISSES A CALL. A missed call after 6pm isn't a missed call. It's a customer booking with your competitor. Most businesses pay $2,000-$4,000/mo for a human to make sure that doesn't happen. Last week I gave my Hermes Agent a real phone number instead. It answers every call, 24/7, in a natural ElevenLabs voice. It doesn't read a script - it checks the calendar, recognizes the caller, and books the appointment mid-call. The math on one dental clinic: → Old answering service: ~$2,400/mo (messages only) → Hermes + ElevenLabs: ~$145/mo (books in real time) → ~$27,000/yr saved per location And it's strictly better - it books at 11pm instead of leaving a voicemail. The setup is one afternoon: → Turn on Hermes' API server → Tunnel it with ngrok → Point an ElevenLabs agent at it (Custom LLM) → Attach a Twilio number Reply "ElevenLabs" + RT, and I’ll send you the detailed playbook via DM Full step-by-step build 👇

Most people spend 5 hours editing one YouTube Short. In 2026, that’s a waste of life. Two tools change everything: → Claude + The Brain. Sonnet 3.5 writes scripts in strict JSON. Automation never breaks. → InVideo API: The Editor. No human needed. Auto-selects footage, adds voiceover and subs. Typical session: 10 mins to set up. $40/mo total cost. $32,000/mo profit. Fix: one automated loop Claude plans the script InVideo does the rest 12+ channels. Fraction of the effort.

This woman called 9-1-1, she told the responder that there was a man outside with a gun, and immediately hung up. The way she hung up made the dispatcher worried that there was a violent altercation and dispatched most of the police force out due to the urgency. The police get there and it turned out the caller only called because he was outside recording videos and she didn’t like him recording so she lied and told the police he had a gun. When people make false police reports, they can be arrested for the seriousness of the situation. Should she be arrested on the spot for this?
