@StevijoPayne Damn it. Damn it. One of my favorite actors ever. Also, if you read about his life, an incredible human being. 50th armored division, Coast Guard master chief, sociologist, football star, boxer, father, king. The world is lesser.

I was hooked after seeing Mr. John Amos in the silly Disney movie ‘The World’s Greatest Athlete.’ Watching him and Tim Conway together made me laugh so hard that the memory still sticks with me today. 🩷 RIP

💔

He was one of the best Rest in Peace, Sir 💕

In Memory of John Amos In the glow of the screen, a father stood tall, With wisdom and strength, he inspired us all. Through trials and laughter, his spirit did soar, Our first Black television dad, we honor and adore. With grace in his heart and love in his voice, He taught us of struggle, yet gave us a choice. Now he rests in peace, a legacy bright, In every story shared, his light will ignite. RIP🪦 🕊️December 27, 1939- August 21, 2024
