RIPPLE CTO SHUTS DOWN XRP GOVERNMENT CONSPIRACY CLAIMS David Schwartz (David 'JoelKatz' Schwartz), CTO Emeritus of Ripple, has issued a direct and unambiguous rebuttal to longstanding conspiracy theories claiming the U.S. government has secret plans involving $XRP. Schwartz confirmed that no hidden agreements with governments or central banks exist around the token. Ripple does hold hundreds of NDAs, Schwartz confirmed. But he was clear these are standard commercial agreements required by banking partners. They exist to protect business interests, nothing more. Schwartz also rejected claims of secret contracts tied to pre-allocated XRP from escrow. The escrow system is fully transparent and traceable on-chain, he noted. Schwartz says those building strategies around hidden government XRP plans are operating on assumptions that do not reflect reality.
