Just went over an audit of a very large Fortune 500 firm and the use of OpenClaw. I advised this client to track and isolate everything. Most listened some did not. Unfortunately one employee using 5 MacMinis had racked up $13,000 of token use in 4 days! The output was minimal and low quality. I have about 200 audits to do in the “wow OpenClaw, MacMini” fiasco. But I can tell you, few have seen a big return on investment. Now don’t get me wrong, these can be powerful tools. The issue is AI influencers have turned many rally smart folks into “like and subscribe” zombies assuming that real work is getting done. It isn’t. Not for the price paid, even local models the way most folks are using this. It is one reason Mr. Grok and myself formed The Zero-Human Company to show that there is a way to do this. We will open source this to save millions of dollars of burnt tokens. It is one reason I invented JouleWork. How else can you monitor real output?

Over the past 6 months, we've rearchitected Cline's agentic loop into a standalone "cline core" gRPC service that runs independently of any editor. This enabled us to decouple from VS code and build - JetBrains (released in GA this week) - CLI built in Go (releasing soon) - Secret project that may be announced soon The CLI is our newest product and will ship without a TUI. Our focus is to release a true primitive. something close to the metal that pipes cleanly into RL environments, CI/CD systems, scripts, and automation workflows. Any "presentation layer" mentioned above can connect to the same running cline core - maintaining full feature parity (e.g. checkpoints, settings, api configurations), context, and conversation state. There's an SQLite-based instance and file/directory lock registry that prevents port conflicts and coordinates graceful shutdowns between paired processes - so you can start up thousands of cline instances in parallel with no conflicts or dangling processes. What's remarkable is that this cline core architecture opens Cline to any interface imaginable: mobile apps, web dashboards, custom tools - all powered by the same intelligent core that understands your codebase.

Hills I will die on as an elementary school teacher, who just wrapped up my 32nd year teaching! 1. If you are not PASSIONATE about blessing, serving, and empowering those you are blessed to teach, this profession is not for you. 2. Our students are not “ours”. They are their families, and we need to understand the magnitude of the calling, and responsibility we have to meet them where they are, and to help them to get to a place that they never thought possible. 3. As important as the curriculum is (and it IS important), the children in our classroom are what matter most. It’s our JOB to teach the curriculum to SERVE our students, NOT to use our students to push any sort of agenda. 4. Just as we teach our students to “leave things better than they found them”, we need to leave our students better than they were when they first entered into our classroom. Never let a day pass without pouring into each and every child. 5. We should not teach our children WHAT to think, but HOW to think, and how to use that knowledge to bless and serve not only themselves, but the world around them. 6. Our words carry little (or NO value), if we do not practice what we preach. 7. If we don’t make learning fun, children will view learning as a chore, and we we will be creating a generation of children who grow up to be young adults who don’t see the joy in learning new things. 8. The child that may be “difficult to reach/teach” (the one who may get on your last nerve more than you could ever imagine), is someone’s EVERYTHING. Get to know them as human beings, find out what motivates them, and do everything you can to help them to thrive. 9. Never tell a child they “can’t” do something. God has blessed each of them with far more strengths and talents than we may know, and it’s not our job to tell them what they can’t do, but to help them to realize all the things they CAN do. 10. The startup world runs on iMessage. The problem is, the Mac messages app is not designed for productivity and there’s no alternative online. If you’re responding to 100+ texts a day, it’s painful and messages get lost easily. As a weekend project, I used Fable to vibecode an AI-native iMessage wrapper. It has: - AI autodrafting that continually learns from your edits - Time sensitive message detection as a separate section - The ability to archive messages so you can get to inbox zero. It reads from the local chat.db on your Mac, and sends messages via AppleScript, so it’s fully secure since it still uses the iMessage protocol on your computer. At Trajectory, we’re all about using AI to accelerate our company as much as possible as possible, and natively bake in CL into all of our processes. This is just one example of how we operate. If there’s enough interest, I’ll clean up the code and send the GH link!
