We won't have jams if people don't rush at junctions. To save 2 mins , they end up losing 20 mins

This is ECR Kovalam Junction. The unnecessary toll gate on this narrow stretch is a major cause of the weekend congestion. ECR is otherwise largely traffic-free. Authorities need to act on this.

U n me out of 100 will talk about civic sense, remaining 98 fellas will drive from 10 cars behind in signal n form 3rd/4th lane in 2 lane road. 2 wheelers will cross left to right n opposite side driving. Chennai doesn't look like metro at all, its big village n we cant change it

If there is no Traffic Policemen in all roads in city and outstrikts this is bound to happen.

Hi..U can't always complain on government and officials either in present or previous govt... whether you have seen anywhere in chennai people obey signals and follow traffic rules ...90% of people bypass signal and don't give left lane for free left...

No SG Govt for the past 20-25 yrs had done any thing to Chennai/TN & its people. For their self interest rejected all projects & not even developed their own either Need Expressways connecting across TN & Chennai

Chennai is a glorified village. Politicians are neither willing to accept its current demand for infrastructure nor willing to accept its potential for growth. Nothing is going to change until the this village mentality exists.

The traffic signal is not timed properly, and a unnecessary tollgate and unruly drivers.
