He mentioned how the early offensive struggles didn't separate the team but actually brought them closer together "Credit our defensive players. Never once did I hear one of those guys moan and groan about what's going on on offense. It was picking those guys up...and that's a sign of a great team" #HookEm | #Texas Question by Cedric Golden

They’re bouncing between practice squads, reserve contracts, or getting cut week to week. And even the ones on a team? Not all of them have guaranteed money. They might get a $700K salary that looks great on paper—but that’s before taxes, agent fees, union dues… Now subtract living expenses in high-cost cities, offseason training, nutrition, massages, physical therapy, personal chefs, and yeah… league fines. I’ve seen guys spend $10K a month just trying to keep their body in game shape, and if they’re injured or cut? That paycheck stops immediately. So when people say, ‘How do these guys go broke?’ It’s simple: the money’s not what you think, and the expenses never stop.
