🦊 the pictures that you saw actually got leaked, right? 🦊 it got leaked 🦊 i didn’t plan on showing you the pictures like that so when it first got leaked, honestly i felt really bad 🦊 me and the staff really thought so much about things like…we thought a lot about the release schedule and we made the release plan after literally putting our heart and soul into it 🦊 things like the news of me making a solo comeback, the date of the solo album and the pictures being leaked really disrupted our release plans 🦊 it made me feel really bad and uneasy 🦊 but this doesn’t really change the quality of my solo album and what i have to show so that’s really good, the songs are really good and the performances will be really good so this doesn’t cause a major disruption in that aspect but the main poster…the key visual of my album cover…if it hadn’t been disclosed like that, i was actually going to reveal it really late because i didn’t want you to look at those pictures and think…well looking at those pictures, you’ll think “is this yeonjun’s concept this time? is that the concept?” 🦊 i didn’t want to make you judge those things based on the pictures 🦊 like “he’s showing his body so is it a sexy concept? is it this concept?” how does i put this…i didn’t want people to judge it based on that 🦊 but anyway, i’m glad the fans liked it and it was good that it gained a lot of attention

Robert Eggers is blessing us with a new film this year & I’ll always have a special place for Eggers because of The Northman alone, let alone his other great films. The Northman helped usher me out of COVID & back into the theater. It’s also just a straight-up beautiful film about revenge with some of the best visuals I can remember. Eggers, like Denis Villeneuve, recognizes the importance of visuals when it comes to telling stories through Cinema. I’m ready for more.

I was surprised when I heard Criterion was doing Armageddon, 'cause I didn't think of it as that kind of movie when we did it. Um, and in retrospect now, I feel like maybe my best work in my career is the commentary on this disc. People approach me to talk about the commentary on this disc as much as they do like movies that I've been in. And it's because, um, I didn't know any better than to be really honest. But I won't spoil it for those of you who are interested. It... it... it is a... it is an... as an achievement that I'm proud of and didn't intend to be as good as I now think it is at the time. a moment when MY healed you the most? 🌙 during fansign, a MY came up to me and for no particular reason said "i'm always on aeri's side, no matter what" , "i just really like aeri" and when i heard that, i think i really felt a sense of fulfillment about the work that i do. It also made me think a lot about the fact that people like me and of course i'm grateful but i think that's when i truly realized "this is a really happy moment." like that.

⭐️: I honestly spent so much time thinking about it. At first, I kept wondering if it was the right choice. Every time I looked in the mirror, it felt unfamiliar and a little awkward. And I think there are certain shades of blonde that suit me, and others that just don’t feel like me. But I really, really thought about it a lot. On top of that, there were times when I was out and about and had to deal with some not-so-great reactions because of it, so I had a lot of worries. I kept going back and forth in my head. When I wore that outfit for the music show performance, I actually couldn’t sleep at all the night before. I had so many thoughts and worries that I was basically fighting with myself. My mood was really bad that day. But even though my body felt like it weighed a ton, I dragged myself to the music show and did it. And while I was there, I was still battling with myself, thinking, “Is this really right? Am I just too stuck in my own perspective to see it clearly? Maybe I’m the only one who doesn’t get it.” But at the same time, I kept telling myself, “We already filmed the music video like this. This is something I have to commit to.” So I went on stage. I was honestly feeling really down that day. I had almost no confidence in myself. But later on, seeing that so many people understood it and liked it made me realise that maybe it wasn’t completely the wrong choice after all. That said, my favourite hairstyle on myself is still black hair. So today, I got my hair and makeup done, looked in the mirror, and thought, “I need to go live.” So here I am.
