I truly believe he rolled up in fellow ministers’ offices and opined about the Chagos Islands. 90% of them would have said “The what Islands?” He’s ever so keen to please, isn’t he? Even if it means looking like a nerdy schoolboy.

The Chagos Islands. The beloved Chagos Islands of my youth. Is this some weird political symbolism or just another poseur posturing? I think we all knew that the Tories were taking an extended break to Trump town but this is getting rather ridiculous now.
