The worst part is he will never be able to adapt to society after being incarcerated for two decades. He would need an immense support system around him, money would not be enough to support him alone.

On Wednesday (Feb. 4), Fox 8 New Orleans reported on the latest update in the N.O. rapper's effort to get his case overturned. The state's high court unanimously voted to deny another appeal, which ends his attempt for a new trial. C-Murder, born Corey Miller, was sentenced to life in prison for the 2002 fatal shooting of Christopher Thomas at Platinum Club in Harvey, La. In the years since then, C-Murder has filed multiple appeals, citing recanted witness testimony and new DNA evidence that he believes exonerates him. In 2011, a judge heard his argument but denied an appeal the following year.
